First, here are a few pictures of Daisy at the beach.

She loves to play in the sand and water with her cousins and frends.

It makes her reeeeeaaaaaally tired!

We also went to Disneyland. This is usually the pose we get for EVERY picture!

We met Minnie! (I know I look like a crazy Disney person....and thats okay with me.)

Craig told me that when he was little, his mom would always tell him to show all his teeth so that he would have a smile in the picture. We tried this with Daisy and it worked like a charm.

Super Easy Ruffle Shirts!!! Yay!

A while back my mother was telling me about a fun craft idea she saw on a blog (as she often does). The idea was to buy 2 of the same shirts, one your size and one of the biggest size they have. Then you cut flowers or ruffles out of the bigger shirt and make a corsage t-shirt by sewing the flowers or ruffles onto the shirt. It sounded fun! So I decided to make a ruffle front shirt. I took 2 shirts I bought for $5.00 at Target, ripped the shirt into different length strips, sewed them into ruffles and then sewed them on this shirt. It turned out super cute and looks great on. Since I am not having a very good "face day" (as Devan calls it),

I took a picture of it on a dress form.

(I didn't take a before picture of this one...woops)

After making a shirt for myself,

I was so pumped up I went to Walmart right away

and bought these 2 yellow shirts for Daisy.

I cut circles out of the larger shirt and sewed them together.

Then I sewed them onto the shirt.

And there you go...A super cute ruffle front shirt for my super cute daughter.

...is pretty funny. Although she is going through her "terrible two's" at 18 months she is still as lovable as always. She started Nursery a few weeks ago and has only had a couple crying spells so far. She wants to do everything herself but can't quite figure out how sometimes.

Craig is older today. He is a wonderful husband and father. I could name a million reasons why I love him. He is caring, loving, patient, hilarious and pretty awesome if you ask Daisy and me.

Daisy turned 1 on Thursday July 2. We had a party for her on Sunday. Devan made her a special dress and I made her the crown. She had a lot of fun!

She especially loved the cake Chelsea made for her! We love this cutie girl!!!

Ava and Remi spent the night at my house last week. We had so much fun! We watched The Little Mermaid and Sleeping Beauty. Here are a few pics:

As my wonderful mom said I normally ignore tags because I just don't want to be a "tag person"(not that its a bad thing). I am supposed to write 6 true things about myself, so ready or not here I go:

1.) I am a big worrier, a big "What-if-er". A BIG one. I know that "worrying never solved anything" and what-if's really don't help, but I can't help it. I don't think that I worry toooo much about the little stuff but I do worry. My worries are set off by my crazy imagination. I can't help it, my mind starts exploding into the unimaginable. I am trying to think of an example but I am worried that what if you think its dumb than you will never want to be my friend again and you will think I'm stupid (just kidding (I was worried that you wouldn't know that I was kidding))....now I am worried that you will think I use too many parenthesis.... (now I am woried that you will think I am dumb because I can't spell)

2.) I LOVE Seinfeld, and so does Craig (what do you think made me fall in looove with him). We have an Iguana named Cosmo and a baby who's hair looks like Kramer's hair when I don't put it in a pony (not on purpose I swear)*. I am always thinking of quotes from the show that I could fit in my everyday life but I don't always say them out loud. I could watch it everyday, all day for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy.

3.) I have a wonderful family. Seriously, families don't get any better than mine. I have the best husband ever, the cutest baby daughter, awesome parents, hilariously fun sisters, fantastic nieces and nephews who I love like my own. I love them so much. I am so lucky to know that I never have to worry (although you know I still will) about anything because I know they will be there whenever I need them .

4.) I hate my job. Big surprise. I have worked there for 6 years because I kept getting raises and I need health insurance....and groceries. I don't want to brag but I am pretty good at my job. Don't you hate being good at something that you don't love doing.

5.) Whenever I watch tv or a movie or anything I always make the facial expressions that the actors are making. I don't know why I do this. I think it is because I wonder how I would do it if I was the one acting. I also repeat things the actors say, not out loud, silently to myself. Just ask Devo. I'm crazy... I know.

6.) I don't like talking about or trying to think of things to write about myself.

I hope you don't think that I think the "glass is half empty". I am actually a happy person. If this was boring to read...sorry. I am not going to tag anyone...sorry. Or you're welcome.

Daisy loves to get her teeth brushed. She only has two bottom teeth so far but I brush them everyday. When I bought her a toothbrush I was prepared for a crying baby. She actually liked it (or at least she was smiling). Yay for clean teeth!

We didn't get a Christmas tree this year

so I decided to decorate the Palm tree that is in our tv room.

It felt kinda like being on vacation for Christmas.

Craig is pretty cool. He is smart, talented in so many ways(super talented), funny, handsome, a great daddy, an AWESOME husband, patient, caring ....ok...just pick any positive adjective you can think of and fill it in here. I love that he loves Seinfeld as much as I do. I love that he is a hard worker. I love that he loves Daisy and would do anything for her. I love that he didn't care that I wanted an all pink bathroom and even helped me think of how to decorate it. I love that he loves our little family. I love him and want him to have a great birthday!

I decided that we would be Peter, Wendy and Tinkerbell for Halloween. I couldn't find a cute enough Tinkerbell costume for Daisy in the right size so I decided to make one. It was my first time making a tutu but I think it turned out awesome!

Here is Daisy in the cute costume I made for her. She was so smiley!!

Here is a family picture at our Halloween party. I asked Craig if he was only being Peter to make me happy and he said yes, but thats alright with me.

My mom made up the pattern for these felt bean bag bats in '86. She posted the pattern on her blog and gave my sisters and me the pattern so we could make some of our own. We all got together on a Saturday night to make them (except for Chels, who lives in the 'copa and misses out on spur of the moment hang outs). They are so cute. We filled them with beans and sewed buttons for the eyes.

After making the bats, I got the urge to make more crafts out of felt. So I got out my sewing machine, turned on my OC dvds and made these felt pumpkins. I made up the pattern on plain white paper, cut out the felt, sewed it together, filled them with cotton and sewed buttons for the eyes and mouths. An OC marathon and Halloween crafts...it doesn't get any better than that!

On Sunday Sept 7th we blessed Daisy. Craig did such a good job! Both of our families came to see her get blessed . It is so great to live by so many family members that love and care for us!

We are so lucky!! This picture shows you how many people came. We definitely took over the chapel.

Daisy was more interested in the fan than the picture!

Daisy's Grandma Haggarton made her beautiful dress. A few days later my mom and I took her to get her blessing pictures taken. This one is my favorite. She is our little angel!

Labor Day in Mexico

For Labor Day weekend we went to Rosarito, Mexico to stay in Craig's sister's beach villa. It was awesome! The whole Haggarton fam went, besides Jenna and Devon. We hung out on the beach, went boogie boarding, made sand castles, had mexican food, played games and watched movies. It was a great time and we were sad, as always, to leave the beach. Here are a bunch of pictures from our trip:

We were all ready to go to church at the spanish branch in Rosarito so I thought it was a good time to get a family pic! Although we couldn't understand what was being said at church, you could still feel the spirit. That night we had a bonfire on the beach and Dwight and Tyson gave a little fireside. Some people bore their testimonies and this guy saw us from the cliff above and came down to see what we were doing. He sat and listened to our testimonies, it was really a neat experience.Casen and Daisy were both on the floor and Casen scooted over and held her hand. Cute!!!I took this picture of her when we were down at the beach. So smiley!!! This guy made fresh salsa right at our table. It was so good I can't stop thinking about it!!!

My Grandpa gave us tickets to the Dbacks game last Thursday so we were able to take Daisy to her first game. Craig was so proud! She was such a good girl.

Not only were we blessed with such a beatiful baby girl, but also one who really doesn't cry much. If she does get a little squirmy, she will usually chipper up when we lay her out on the floor for a little while.
Cosmo tries to make it look like he doesn't care, but the 3-year-old, 3-foot-long iguana will still show us that he wants SOME attention. In this picture, he is sneaking a look, wondering "what's so important that mommy is always holding?" Sometimes if Kelli isn't holding Daisy, Cosmo will climb up to her and just sit holding on to her arm, while looking around like he's guarding his property. It's amazing how such a big ugly reptile can actually be cute and have sweet moments.

This is officially Craig's first post

As I was going through old pictures, I came upon these from the NL Division Series last October. The Diamondbacks swept the series 3-0 against the Chicago Cubs. At no other time have I gone so berzerk at a ballgame. Even though our 1st place team is in a bit of a slump right now, I still plan on posting pictures from this years' playoffs. I've been a major D-Back fan from the beginning, and you can tell from our fashionable duds that I'm happy to say 'goodbye purple, hello winning'!

This is the name banner I made (with a little inspiration from my mom) for Daisy's room. I took some cardboard letters and ovals and ironed on some extra fabric that my mom used for the crib bedding and closet curtains. I punched holes in the top of each circle and ties ribbon through them to string them all together. I then hot glued some Pink daisies on the other ovals. I am so proud of my creation!!! I love it!

My family threw me an awesome shower last week! It was so fun!! Everyone was so generous! When I came home that night my car was filled to the brim with presents for Daisy! Craig and I brought all the presents in (I made him do all the lifting of course) and we filled up Daisy's room! I was sitting in the middle of the room going through all the cute stuff. The room was packed!! Thanks to everyone for the presents and for making my shower so great!!

Here is Craig scraping the nasty popcorn ceiling. We had already scraped the rest of the house before we moved in. For some reason we skipped this room. What a mess!!!!

It used to be Cosmo's room but Craig made him a special place in the living room. Craig is an awesome painter!! I don't know how he makes those lines so straight! I make him do it because I don't have enough patience to paint perfect straight lines.

Craig is still painting the baby's furniture so it all matches. We'll post pictures once its all finished. We can't wait for her to get here!

Cosmo Kramer Haggarton

My mom told me that I have to start a blog before our baby girl is born. Since all my sisters have blogs also, I decided to give into the peer pressure.

So for my first post I decided to show you a picture of Cosmo taking a nap. He is so adorable isn't he? He is 3 years old and about 38 inches long (yes we measured him). Iguanas live about 15 years so we will have him for a long time and he is just going to get bigger. We love him as strange as that sounds!
